What�s Covered

Our workmanship warranty protects against defects in application under normal use. It does not extend to product manufacturer defects, structural issues, or damage from events beyond our control. See exclusions below.

Drywall Repairs	1 year [EDIT]	Cracks at patched seams, nail pops reappearing in patched areas due to workmanship.
Deck/Fence Staining	1 year [EDIT]	Uneven coverage or premature failure from application error (excl. wear & weathering).
Roof Coating	1�3 years [EDIT]	Adhesion failure of coating due to application error (excl. leaks from roof structure).
Power Washing	N/A	Service-only. No ongoing warranty; performed as prep or standalone cleaning.

Covered

Peeling or blistering from improper prep/application.
Premature adhesion failure where we applied materials.
Missed areas or obvious lap marks caused by our team.

Not Covered

Damage from water intrusion, leaks, mold, storms or acts of nature.
Wear and tear, abuse, impact damage, or customer-applied products.
Moisture/vapor issues, efflorescence, tannin bleed, rust, or substrate failure.
Color fade due to UV exposure or product limitations.

Warranty Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

Warranty applies to projects completed and fully paid to J. Martinez Painting. Proof of purchase may be required.

Start Date

Coverage begins on the date the project is marked complete on the final invoice.

Remedy

Our sole obligation is to repair the affected area(s) caused by workmanship defects at no labor cost. Material costs may be included at our discretion.

Maintenance

You must follow reasonable maintenance (cleaning, touch-ups where normal) and promptly address leaks or moisture sources. See tips below.

Transferability

[EDIT] Warranty is non-transferable unless otherwise stated in writing.

Manufacturer Warranties

Paint/coating brand warranties are separate and may have different terms. We�ll help you file with the manufacturer if needed.

Limitations

No incidental or consequential damages. This warranty is the exclusive remedy for workmanship issues.

Care & Maintenance Tips

Clean painted surfaces with mild soap and water; avoid harsh abrasives.
Address leaks and condensation promptly to prevent substrate damage.
Inspect exterior annually for caulk failure, cracks, or wood rot.
Avoid pressure washing at close range on painted wood or siding.
Use matching touch-up paint for small scuffs after curing (30 days typical).
